That's why the Cryptex USB Stick in Steampunk Design will protect you from criminals, using a method that can be traced back to Leonardo da Vinci. Since Dan Brown's books and the movies with Tom Hanks, almost everyone knows it: the cryptex. Hidden behind a sturdy metal case and movable rings, you can transport hidden messages - or, in this case, a USB flash drive. Now you can encrypt your data both digitally and the old-school way.

The two following designs are available:

• The Cryptex Cylinder houses a USB 3.0 flash drive (32 GB or 64 GB) and can only be opened if the 5 rings with the numbers from 0 to 9 are set to the correct positions. With the handy carrying strap, you can even attach the Cryptex to your keychain. The Cryptex Cylinder is available in the following designs: 64 GB Gold, 64 GB Antique Gold, 32 GB Antique Gold, and 32 GB Black.


• The Cryptex Compass is a mix between a compass and a pocket watch that hides either a 16, 32 or 64 GB USB flash drive. The 16 GB version uses USB 2.0, the other two variants feature USB 3.0. Instead of numbers, you have to set four compasses to the correct coordinates in order to access your data. Using it will definitely make you feel like a pirate! ;)
