At times, one can get the impression that in many software companies, one department does not know what the other is doing and vice versa. For example, sales and marketing would like to have released the new software yesterday, while the developers are still in the midst of finishing their job.

The "It compiles, let's sell it" T-Shirt could not put this dilemma any better: Just because the software managed to compile without any problems, it does not mean that it is bug-free and ready to be sold. But good luck explaining that to someone from the sales team... ;)
