A long time ago (1977 to be exact) – from a galaxy far, far away – the first of a series of films appeared on our cinema screens, changing nerd culture forever.

Aside from Jedi Knights, unreliable Stormtroopers, Yoda speak and other great ideas, the Star Wars franchise gave us lightsabers, which might be the most iconic science fiction weapon of all time. Now you can enjoy a large cup of coffee in peace while studying the neatly itemised weapons of light that your heroes and their opponents use, such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Maul, Yoda, Mace Windu and many more.

The mug has a capacity of 450 ml and has room on the outside for all the famous lightsabers and other weapons from the Star Wars universe. In a cool state, the mug remains dark and the lightsabers are off, but as soon as you pour in hot liquid, the energy weapons light up. Maybe there is a little Force at play after all?
