For a player of trading-card games, nothing is worse than having amazing cards in your hand but not enough mana to play them. This situation is usually described as being mana screwed, which tells it as it is. After all, you are screwed unless you know a miraculous way to get mana back quickly.

At the other end of the spectrum, there are Tron-players. As the "Tron Life" t-shirt shows, these players manage to create seven mana with only three cards! They'll only need a mine, a tower and a power plant. With a bit of luck, you can have these three cards out by turn three - which is when the fun starts! Being able to summon even the mightiest of creatures this early on creates an advantage that's hard to lose. One of the side effects is that your opponent will most likely start crying every time he hears the word "Tron"... ;)
