Unlike many other ergonomic keyboards, the keyboard has
100% of the standard keys, including all function keys, while using only 60% of the space of a standard keyboard. The layout follows the familiar QWERTY standard, but some of the special keys are specially arranged - for example, the Enter key is within reach of the right thumb. However, the key assignment can be easily adjusted via third-party software. The shape of the keyboard and the arrangement of the keys thus prevent you from twisting your wrists and enables you to position the mouse much closer to the hands in their neutral resting position on the integrated, comfortably padded palm rest.
The high-precision
infrared switches use infrared light to register the individual keystrokes. They provide a consistently pleasant and accurate typing feel and allow typing at high speeds. Moreover, they are significantly less affected by wear and tear than purely mechanical switches. These Tactile Silent
switches are characterised by a noticeable pressure point and they are wonderfully quiet at the same time. Of course, the keyboard also has full n-key rollover
as well as anti-ghosting!.
Keys and switches are
easily replaceable with the enclosed remover. Four switches and keys each are included as replacements. In addition, the keys are compatible with common Cherry MX cross-mount keycaps.
The keys of the keyboard are individually
illuminated with LEDs and can be used in ready-made or saved in individually configured profiles, which then can be easily switched by the simple pressing of a key. The brightness can be optimally adjusted in 10 steps.
